The industry’s fastest-growing automated consumer insights platform, Zappi, has appointed Z Johnson as its new VP of Customer Transformation. Johnson is brought on to evolve how Zappi’s customers access and leverage their insights and turn them into a competitive advantage.


In her last role at Microsoft, Johnson led organizational development of a 90-person market research department, the end goal being complete digitization. In addition, her experience spans serving on the Board of Directors for Market Research Institute, hosting the MRXplorer podcast, and managing the Microsoft Office 365 satisfaction study at Ipsos.

Johnson’s extensive credentials will drive product portfolios and help brands transform in today’s digital world. 

Z commented on her new role, saying: “My personal passion in the insights industry is prompting thoughts on how we can be continuously evolving to keep up with the speed of business while still adhering to research best practices. 

Zappi caught my attention as one of the companies in this space doing just that: moving the industry forward in a way that maintained the integrity of the research being performed while simultaneously taking advantage of technology’s ability to automate various functions.
